Introductory
ENT1010 - Challenge & Opportunity You identify, compare and assess a variety of venture opportunities and ideas.
ENT1020 - Elements of a Venture Plan You learn the elements of a venture planning process and build a plan.
MAM1010 - Marketing & Management You identify basic management and marketing concepts and describe retail merchandising strategies of value to the retail employee, manager or owner.
MAM1020 - Quality Customer Service You identify and describe the target customer and the selling floor, including sales and nonsales activities. You will demonstrate knowlege of techniques required by employees in the field.
Intermediate
ENT2010 - Analyzing Ventures You gather and analyze data to make informed decisions about the feasibility of ventures.
ENT2020 - Financing Ventures You compare various sources of financing and choose the method that is best for financing the venture.
ENT2030 - Marketing the Venture You appraise various marketing strategies and formulate a marketing strategy for a venture.
MAM2010 - Manging for Quality You demonstrate basic managerial skills, by assuming roles and responsibilities of management in order to coordinate available resources and achieve quality results.
MAM2040 - Retail Operations You identify and demonstrate retail operations that are typically performed off the selling floor and/or away from customers.
Advanced
MAM3010 - The Business Organization You identify and describe organizational structures, management theories and organizations as working units. You also explain your beliefs of what successful organizations might look like in the future.
MAM3020 - Business in the Canadian Economy You investigate and relate your knowledge of economics to how business decisions are made within the community, provincially, nationally and internationally.
